Farms Cantore Castelforte, consist of different designations depending on the name of the farm of origin. Are: the company Centonze, the company Tre Torri, the company Mazzetta, the company Cicimaia and the wine cellar, located in Manduria (TA). All have but a single purpose: only produce excellent wines, as reflected in national and international events that have seen players and winners of prizes.
Around the farmhouse Centonze from the beginning of the 1900s, symbol of the Group Cantore di Castelforte, rotates the most significant activities. The extension is impressive: 250 hectares of which 50 planted with olive trees, 40 to arable land and the rest to vineyard (predominantly primitive Manduria Doc). The company includes the oil mill built in 2000. All the vineyards for the farm Tre Torri, with its extension equal 100 hectares. The 70% is Primitive and the rest with other international variety. With the company Mazzetta move in the province of Lecce. In an area of 150 hectares produces mainly the salice Salentino Doc. The remainder is produced wheat. With the farm Cicimaia remain at salice Salentino. Of the total surface area of 100 hectares, largely dedicated to fine vineyards of salice Salentino Doc and the rest is devoted to arable land waiting to replant new vineyards. No less attention is devoted to the cultivation of the olive grove that covers an area of 100 hectares extended between different companies.
The average annual production of 25000 hectolitres of wine at a potential 3,000,000 bottles. The bottles of wine Cantore Castelforte enclose in their body and softness intense fruity scents and enveloping, pleasant taste and smell. The Terra del sole of Puglia, robust its tempting aromas of fruit and spices is the hallmark of quality wines Cantore di Castelforte.
